What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit attngame.com or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It does not cover any third-party site we link to, including implicitly.io and LinkedIn, each of which has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever is in your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server log data when a page is requested, including IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking software on this site.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to you. If you contact us, we use your details to respond and to continue that conversation. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and the steps necessary to enter into a contract where relevant.
- To keep the site working and secure. Server logs are used to operate the site and to detect abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email from this site.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Full detail, including the one item of browser storage we use to remember your consent choice, is in our Cookie Policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify — website hosting and content delivery, which processes server log data.
- Google Workspace — our email, which processes any message you send us.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site are requested from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
We may also disclose data where we are required to by law.
International transfers
Some of the providers above are based in, or store data in, countries outside the UK, including the United States. Where that happens, transfers are made under the UK’s adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless there is a legal or business reason to keep it longer. Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider, which is a short rolling window.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email neil@attngame.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would ask that you raise it with us first so we have the chance to put it right.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
